Enjoy The Wonders Of The Ocean!
Located on the Stanley Bridge Wharf, Route 6, Carr’s Shellfish offers shellfish right out of the bay. Malpeque oysters from our own beds, soft-shell clams, quahaugs, mussels and lobster are available from our ocean water storage tanks. As well, we offer fresh fish in season such as mackerel, salmon, hake, cod and trout. Scallops and smoked fish are all Island produced and available at the Market. Sample some oysters or a lobster right on our deck.

We’re the shellfish experts and we pack for travel. Either carry it on the plane with you or have it sent to your town – we’ll take care of the details. There’s no better way to extend your Island vacation than with a box or two of seafood!

If you'd like to learn more about Island seafood, how it grows and how it's fished, why not visit  the Stanley Bridge Marine Aquarium   just across the river. There's lots to see at the Aquarium, including touch tanks, shellfish displays, live sea creatures and one of the largest private collections of mounted birds and butterflies in Canada. Or join us at Carr's Oyster Bar. Come in, sit down and relax – watch the oyster shucker at work while you enjoy our fresh seafood or other choices. We feature world famous Malpeque oysters from our own oyster beds, clams, mussels, lobster, scallops, fish & chips – we also have a wide selection of choices for those who don’t eat seafood, a full wine and cocktail menu as well as a children’s menu.
We are open 7 days a week, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
